KLEINER

Born in 1703 in Augsberg, Kleiner is known principally as an architect though he was also a designer and engraver. He was commissioned to design the plans for the Imperial Library in Vienna. He was involved in the design of a variety of edifices and our collection includes engravings of Kleiner's designs for the iron gates surrounding the gardens of the Palace.
