Vue d'Optique were a genre of etching popular during the second half of the 18th century developed to provide the illusion of depth when viewed through an optical device called a zograscope. We have published a series of London scenes including Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens which drew all manner of people and supported enormous crowds, with its paths being noted for romantic assignations.

New limited edition prints 'The London Series' from one of our favorite artists, now living in New York yet sometimes still nostalgic for London! The edition size is 150, and they are taken from Sophie's original mixed media prints, printed digitally, and each signed and numbered by the artist.

We are pleased to introduce a series of limited edition prints of eight retro chair paintings by Peter Ward, featuring designs by Conran, Harry Bertoia, Robin Day, Hans Wegner, Charles and Ray Eames and others.
Peter Ward (DesRCA) studied furniture design at Shoreditch and the Royal College of Art in the 1960's and painted this striking set of watercolours of contemporary chairs in 1963 for his thesis illustrating the use of wood, metal, fibreglass, moulded plywood, fabric and leather. We are delighted a add a pair of limited edition still life studies by watercolour artist Rosie Campbell to our collection of contemporary artwork. Rosie Campbell has a BA degree in Fine Art from Reading University. She Lives in Dulwich, London, and her primary subjects are landscape and still life. She regularly exhibits from her studio and with fellow artists at open house exhibitions.
