SOPHIE ARNOLD

Sophie combines strong dynamic compositions with a subtle use of line, colour and texture. She creates rich layered images involving etched, embossed or tissue paper surfaces which evoke the web of crowded cityscapes, and the changing contours of modern architecture. Sophie earned an MA in Printmaking at Camberwell College of Art after a BA(hons) degree in Fine Art at Wimbledon. She has exhibited regularly at print shows in London including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 1999; four years at the FBA National Print Exhibition, Mall Galleries; '200 Prints' Morley Gallery 2000, and other national and international art events. Her work is held in the collections of the Reuter Foundation and Centre for Dispute Resolution.
